The first thing that happened is that they went to a interview for the games and then haymitch told peeta to say he had a crush on Catniss for popularity. Then after a week they went into the hunger games arena to fight and survive. After a hour already 7 people died. Then Catniss was hiding in a trench to stay for a night but then she decided to go find some water.
